More details below about Nicola's GoGo Year Book 2010, I love that everyone is so excited about this challenge already, there is nothing like a free challenge every month to get the mojo working again, and don't forget the free hybrids to download to use with this challenge...

Welcome to 2010 Ladies and a brand new challenge

I hope you will all join me each month through the year to create a cool keepsake of your 2010 !!

This idea was born out of journal I used to keep just for me but I enjoyed it so much I wanted to share it with you all ...the idea is simple but you will all love it I'm sure.

The first thing I want you to do when you get your kit is keep hold of your pizza box , you can make cool Yearbook covers from this either yellow and bold like my 2008 version

Photobucket

or more shabby chic style by using the kraft coloured side of the box.

The size of my Yearbook is 6 x 12 so that each double page entry uses a 12 x 12 sheet of patterned paper or CS from your kit.

I will be back a bit later in January with more details and a FREE and EXCLUSIVE hybrid element .....

See you all real soon

Day two

Day 1

Wednesday, November 25

Well I have hit the big 40, and it feels fine, no feeling old or maudlin which was good, as I thought after this year's events yesterday may have been a bit of a challenge but it really wasn't.
I received a tonne of lovely gifts and lots of beautiful and a few rude cards:)

I decided I really didn't want a party or trip for my birthday so asked hubby for a new camera, which I received yesterday (quite a shock as I thought I wouldn't receive it until nearer Christmas)
I have been having a play with it today and I love it, so much better than my old Canon, but saying that the Canon was a good introduction to the world of SLR camera's.
I also received a Tiffany charm for my birthday, a CD box set of "House" smellies, vouchers and money which were all really appreciated, and bless my DD she bought me a book out of her own pocket money:)

Off to Wyverstone crop on Saturday for our Christmas Lunch, lots of friends new and old so not doubt will have a great time....

Well I've had my first play today with the ScrapaGoGo December kit, it really is a varied kit and great for scrapping those winter snaps. There are some great free Hybrids this month, one of which is a dead cool Mug which I have been playing about with. The bespoke SLJ's this month are awesome, really unusually and I can't wait to use them all, will leave you with a photo of my 1st layout along with a couple of closeups.....

Wednesday, November 4

Well the Getaway is all over now:( but preparations now start for the march getaway now! We had a fab time in this wonderful venue, I was lucky enough to teach 2 classes one on the Friday evening and one on the Saturday night, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. The Friday night class was called "Find It" and the Saturday night Class was called "Metallic"

They were both very different from each other in that "Find It" was all about finding little embellishments than can be used on your layouts, and "Metallica" was a class exploring metalllic elements, including paper, ribbon brads and Glimmer Mists. I think all my "Pupils" really enjoyed trying some techniques they hadn't tried before, so that was a real bonus. All the ladies at the Getaway were great and really friendly and I was glad to meet them all!
Will leave you with some photos...

Another week over and what a busy week it's been, a birthday party, bike rides, scrapping and lots of photography. The party went by without any hitches and all the kids seemed to enjoy it.
I have completed a couple of LO's for challenges on the ScrapaGoGo Clubhouse, they have been set for all the ladies that are going along to the Getaway retreat at the end of the month.
Off to put my feet up :)

Friday, October 2

Blowing up balloons and putting up banners..... in readiness for a certain person's birthday tomorrow:) A busy day planned with a bowling party and then a family meal, let's hope we can stand the pace!!

Wednesday, September 30

It's Grab-It day in GoGo Land tomorrow, can you believe it's going to be October already, it's Mia's birthday on Saturday, we have bought Mia a bike for her birthday as it was quite obvious the other one was way to small for her. She is having a bowling party for her birthday followed by a family meal together.
Will leave you with some pictures of what is going to be available on Grab-It Day here

Sunday, September 27

Had a great day yesterday at the Wyverstone crop, it was great to see some new faces, and lovely to sit next to Sheena. The crop was raising funds for the Macmillian nurses, so there was lots to take part in. I was lucky to win Queenie's Dundee cake, which made me smile. For a few snaps of the day visit Nicola's blog.
Right off to watch the season finale of this most excellent series
